Uggh I can't keep a layout for more than a week, I swear, but I like this one because it's THE UNICORNS. Hellz yeah bitch!!

Errm..

I can't see the Decemberists anymore, but Hot Hot Heat will be here May 22 and that makes up for it. But they're at the Trocadero! Wtf, I hate that place, the stage is too high, but whatever. Ted Leo will be there too.

My friend made me this crazy mix cd. It has a few bands that I like, like The Decemberists and Ozma, and other good bands like The Moldy Peaches and The Kinks. Adam Green is on it too, and I really like him, so maybe I'll get a cd of his this weekend.

The school's air conditioning broke and it was 80+ degrees yesterday and I was sweating. Haha everyone was but it was freaking miserable and I had gym class too. Gross.

I feel really emo. I hate school because precalculus and physics are freaking hard and I'm always tired from never getting enough sleep. =/

Today was ok...I went to Kohl's and got 3 shirts and I made my first vector!!

Oh yeah I'm re-working my livejournal because I hate having the entries in such a small box, so for now my lj layout will be really boring. I'm making a picture for the top with the same dinosaur as before, but...I'll make that later.

Hey this is the first time ever that it hasn't taken me a week to update!!

This weekend I went thrifting and got a ton of boy shirts to make purses out of, and I got this weird pink polka dot fabric that I made a skirt out of.

Today was boring except for the sewing part because I spent half of it making the skirt, and then I did research for my history research paper which is about punk rock's influence on music and society. Oi to the punx!!

The new Hot Hot Heat cd is grand, and listen to Phoenix!!! They are French and discoxcore!

Last night I saw Dogs Die in Hot Cars!! I don't know if anyone has even heard of them but they are an amazing Scottish band. This British band, Long-View opened for them and so did Phoenix, and they were both decent, but DDIHC (I'm not freaking typing out their name) were really great. The lead singer is hot too, haha, but anyway, I was in the front and at the end of the show this nice guy went up on stage and got me a guitar pick. I also took the lead singer's water bottle because I'm so hardcore or just really obsessive. I took my friend Zacc and he stayed at my house until like 3 am and then my mom said he should drive home or whatever but we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail and some lame shows on tv, but there was nothing on.

Today I have to do a ton of homework, and tomorrow I have to do a ton of homework, so this weekend should be AWESOME.

The Bloc Party show is Wednesday!!

I made a new layout because I obviously can't keep the same one for over 2 weeks. So far this weekend I have made a really huge bag that I guess could be called a "messenger bag" and started reading Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions and it's just amazing. I was supposed to hang out with my one friend today but he got sick, which sucks, so I'm most likely taking him to the Dogs Die in Hot Cars concert on Friday, which I can't wait for.

Tomorrow I'm going to my grandmother's for Easter lunch or something and hopefully getting the Bridget Jones DVD because I've been begging my mom for it all week. I also want a Holga but I'll just buy one of those myself from amazon or whatever.

Today=physics lab portfolio (ARGH), history outlines, more reading (which is ok), and math pssa testing packets (AARRRGH).

Ugh I still barely update this, but whatev. I got sick last weekend and missed 2 days of school so I haven't had a lot of sleep this week because I had so much work to make up. This weekend I'm going to Philly FINALLY to hopefully get some fabric to make more purses (which I hope to sell eventually) and get concert tickets to either Dogs Die in Hot Cars, Bloc Party, or maybe both!!

I REALLY want to see Death From Above but the concert is the same night as the day we go on a field trip to six flags (for physics) and we don't get home until 6 and the show starts at 7!! WTF!! That sucks but hopefully they'll come back.

Oh yeah, friggin Conor Oberst isn't even coming to PA on his tour with THE FAINT. ANOTHER WTF. Haha seriously he is way too anti-clear channel venues but there are a few places he could play it in Philly that aren't owned by clearchannel. Ugh.

I'm done ranting, but I have nothing else to say.

This weekend I stayed home (as usual) and Friday there was this volleyball night thing at school haha so I played some volleyball with my friends and some other cool kids were there too. It was nice.

Dear livejournal friends,

I suck at updating, but that's because I finally found stuff to do besides use the internet, which is sewing, and more sewing. I made a shirt out of a skirt and decorated my pants. I'll probably take pictures of them later because I'm happy with the shirt since it's my first clothing surgery ever.

Well, on March 3rd I saw the Secret Machines with The Moving Units and Autolux and as you might imagine, it was the greatest thing ever ever ever. Autolux was eh but the drummer was pretty good. The Moving Units look like no one really gets along, but again, the drummer is superb and he's freaking hilarious. He was really happy when I bought a shirt from him. The venue I went to (theater of living arts in philadelphia) is reallllly nice and they must have air conditioning because it was really nice in there. Everyone was smoking so all my clothes had to be washed a million times. Holy crap! The Secret Machines are so great live! They have this light show and the guitarist, Ben, is hot (or "hawt") and amazing, the drummer is cool but I couldn't really see him, because I was behind a tall kid (but still the second person back) and Brandon Curtis is my hero!! I <3 him so much. They were just awesome. I took some pictures, so here they are. I could only get one good one of the drummer.

God I never update anymore. My house smells like broccoli or brocolli or however it's spelled. I'm tired and my whole body starts because I just started to learn how to play volleyball and I go to these 3 hour practices (intense!!!). I can't stand most of my friends (emo+angst) and I'm looking forward to the ski trip tomorrow.

Did I mention that I got my hair cut. It looks like Audrey Tautou's hair in Amelie, which is kind of what I was going for. Maybe it is the most hardcore haircut I've ever got (or the most scene).

I'm mad at most of my friends, they're kind of jerks and stuff. I really like the Unicorns. In health, we're talking about our feelings. Mrs. Rabenda asked us to define depression and I'm all "feeling really emo" and the whole class laughs but Mrs. Rabenda is confused, and then I had a debate with Justin about how much emo kids really want to kill themselves. I guess it depends. He grew emo bangs. They're almost as long as my bangs.

I'm seeing The Secret Machines AND The Moving Units. AND Autolux. All in one show! Holy crap! Amazing!

Hey, so I haven't updated in forever because I was attempting to remove myself from the internet. However, my goal has not been accomplished as I am on the internet right now. I've started making pictures out of paper cut outs and stuff like that. Thursday was the ski trip (awesome). I'm snowblading instead of skiing, so that's a lot better.
Yesterday, I got tickets to THE SECRET MACHINES WITH THE MOVING UNITS AND AUTOLUX. That should be a good show!! I also got The Unicorns: Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?
Today, I got my haircut and went for a walk and took pictures and stuff, so here they are.

I went to dinner on Friday with some kids to celebrate the end of midterms, I made 2 purses, and I definitely failed my physics midterm. My physics teacher gave me a dirty look for no good reason, but she does that a lot. You should all watch Project Runway.

K, so I think I have a layout that I'm definitely going to keep for awhile.

Midterms are coming up this week, so I have to study all weekend, except for right now, because I'm taking a break. I think I only need to study for history because that's the hardest subject I have, and also physics (gross). Yesterday, I went to Border's. My favorite place in the world. I had a gift card, so I got three books (Bandbox [set in the 20's], Bridget Jones 2, and The Liar by Stephen Fry [one of my favorite British actors]) and the new AP magazine because it has a nice picture of Conor inside. I still secretly like Bright Eyes. Aaaaand my mom found these great calendars with vintage pictures for my room. I'm going to paint my room soon, it's terribly messy.

I'm disappointed about the marking period being over soon, because I won't have my sewing class anymore and I have to switch to a different lunch period because of this other class I'm taking. I'll miss my table. But I did find some other people to sit with.

Tomorrow, I'll be going thrift store shopping to hopefully find some blazers, and Thursday is the ski trip. I bought a pair of snowblades and now I have absolutely no money at all, but I'm going to try and get a job at this new craft store.

P.S. My physics teacher is evil. She doesn't allow singing, sarcasm, or asking her a question because she hates to repeat herself. We think she's so mean because she's sexually frustrated, or because she has a disease that causes constant PMS-ing. Either way, she is totally lame.

P.P.S. My new favorite band is Brand New (shut up) and you should all watch Project Runway on Bravo.

Well. I stayed home from school today because I got an eye infection (wtf?!) but my stress/anxiety problems are pretty much over.

I'm making these really hot bags. I mean hawt or HAWTZoRZ. I made one out of plaid pants and one from a jean jacket that is too big. My mom thinks I should make bags to sell or something, which would be neat. I <3 my sewing machine.

P.S. NEW LAYOUT! I'm tired of robot layouts, but I still love robots like all the other scenesterz.

I decided to quit my livejournal hiatus or whatever because I have that need to make a new layout, which I will do eventually, maybe tomorrow, since I have to go to my aunt's soon for a Christmas dinner type thing. So far Christmas has been ok, but I have to complain first.

You see, every Christmas eve, we go to my grandmothers house to have dinner and open presents and what not, but since my cousin married this woman, her parents and brother come to celebrate Christmas with us. However, they are Jewish. I don't care that they're Jewish or anything, but they take over the whole house and it's all about them. The Jews. On "Christmas". They don't even celebrate this holiday but they end up getting the most presents anyway, which really sucks because the rest of us get like half as much as them but they are the rich important people from New York, so they just get everything they want. Plus, they have a one year old, and he got a TON of stuff that he didn't even have any desire to use, and all his stuff was piled into the middle of the living room and there was nowhere to move, plus my cousin in law and her mother were filming it. BIG WTF. Other than that, it was fun, I got a Borders gift card (rule), FYE gift card, a scarf, dragonfly pin, photo-journal-type-thing from the Jewish people who don't really know me at all and I got 2 DVD's: Now and Then and Bridget Jones's Diary (stfu) but I love Hugh Grant and his British-ness. I ate too much but that's what you do on holidays.

Sooo today was nice so far, except I woke up at 6:30 am and I couldn't sleep because I was having breathing problems, which happens when I'm anxious, so I watched the 2 DVD's I got and then my parents woke up, and we opened all the stuff we got. I got the best stuff ever, lyk fo' seeerious.

Ha! I saw Ted Leo last night! He's fucking brilliant, I swear.

First his brother, Chris Leo, played, and me and Dana didn't like his singing, or talking, because he didn't really sing, but he was a good guitar player, and also really hot.

And thennn Matt Pond PA played and they are a bunch of Canadians. They were really good and I got one of their cds. They even had a cello player!! And the drummer was adorable. So, here are some pictures of them.

And thennn Ted Leo came on. He was amazing and wore tight pants and his shirt was all full of hole. He was sweating hardcore after the first song and he danced around a lot. He also discussed some political matters (he hates Bush) (awesome). It was the best show ever, even better than the Faint. Because. Ted Leo rules! He also played all of my favorite songs. And since I was in the very front and only 2 feet away from him, I got some really good pictures. And his Pharmacists had beards (gross). But they still wore tight pants. P.S. Ted Leo is amazing!!!

And I celebrated by taking a lot of useless pictures. I also went to the mall today and got some neat stuff for the winter dance coming up. I'll be the most hip girl there, seriously, since all the other girls will wear ho dresses. I still need a skirt because the one I got was too big but it was PERFECT. I'm making a real live update now.

Since I posted artsy photoshop crap that isn't actually artsy, I figured I should type something semi interesting. I'm reading a paper on fascism, which I have trouble spelling, for my history class. My physics teacher wants us to talk about our feelings.

Also, she tells us that we are not allowed to use the following words:
loser
stupid
gay
fag
duh
shut up
freak
queer
lame
dumb
and pussy (because I used it and now we can't).

It's not like I call people gay anyway, but now we use all of those words to make our teacher mad. She laughs at Sid, because we all think she's in love with him, but whenever I say it she gives me this angry face and is all "Hayley!! >>>>:o Don't you use those words! They are hurting words!" It's ok. I'm too sarcastic anyway. Sid put a gum rapper in my hood. What a jerk. Jerk is also a word we can't use in physics.

I just started listening to Cursive again and I still think they're lovely, but I don't really like The Good Life. However, Tim Kasher=still cool. I'm seeing Ted leo in like 7 days! WTF?! I never thought I would see him since all of his shows are 18+ and what not, but this one is all ages. I E> Ted.

There is circuit training in gym class. Eric is too emo for it, and I told him so, because he is too weak! Ha, Eric, if you ever see this! Don't cry. You need a sweater. Mr. Nuneviller or whatever his name is is hardcore about it. However, we are all very lackluster in our participation.

The Blood Brothers have a video for Peacocks on their website. It's nice. Jordan is still my favorite. I wish there were scene kids at school! Except I hate scene kids, so it doesn't matter. But no one wears tight pants. Le sigh.

That sounded stupid. Ok. I need a new cd. I got the Juliana Theory cd at the mall because I'm spontaneous and I saw it at the mall, so I was all "Brett Detar!" and I got it, and there are like...3 songs that I like. But Brett still had nice hair. Also also also I got a new plaid shirt and new checkerboard vans because my old ones were colored pink and were dirty to the max. My new ones are "khaki and plaid".

I'll take a picture tomorrow because I got my digital camera!!!. Finally. It's been more than 2 months, I think. I'll take a bunch of scene pictures.
